14th Annual Aboriginal Youth Career Workshop

The Peace River Aboriginal Interagency Committee proudly presents the 14th Annual Aboriginal Youth Career Workshop — a full-day event designed to inspire Indigenous youth to explore careers, connect with professionals, and build confidence in their future paths.

For over a decade, this workshop has brought together youth and industry leaders from across Northern Alberta. From trades to post-secondary pathways to entrepreneurship, students gain real-world insight from those who have walked the path before them.


What the Day Looks Like

• Approximately 25 career tables
• 8–10 students per table
• 20-minute presenter sessions
• 3 rotations per group
• Industry booths surrounding the main floor

Youth will have structured conversations with presenters and also time to visit booths, ask questions, and gather information.

Lunch is provided.

For Presenters & Booth Hosts

We invite businesses, agencies, entrepreneurs, and professionals to:

✔ Host a booth
✔ Serve as a career table presenter
✔ Provide hands-on demonstrations
✔ Bring tools, visuals, or materials from your field
✔ Donate items for student draws

Total event cost: $18,550
